JM Sethia Merit Scholarship

JM Sethia Charitable Trust offers scholarships to students from all over India who are financially poor and have an excellent academic record. Those who are studying in class 9 to 12 or UG or PG course are eligible to apply for it. All you need to take care is that you are studying a full time course from a recognised school or college. Eligibility Criteria There are 4 categories under this scholarship scheme. For Category A, student must have scored 75% or above marks in class 8 and must be studying in class 9 or 10. For Category B, student must have 75% or above marks in class 10 and should be studying in class 11 or 12. This scholarship is aimed towards those academically gifted students who are not able to continue their higher studies after 10th due to financial condition of the family. Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students (MHRD Scholarship)

MHRD provides scholarships funded by the Central Government for financially weaker students with an excellent academic record for higher education. Those who are not able to study any degree course due to some financial issues in their family can apply for this scholarship for their graduate studies. There are 82000 scholarships every year (41000 for girls and 41000 to boys) by MHRD. Eligibility Criteria The student should have passed the board exam with the top 20 percentile of successful candidates. The annual income of the family should be less than 6 lakhs.
