AICTE offers Pragati Scholarship to girl students in India for technical degree/diploma courses. Girls who are willing to pursue any technical degree/diploma from a recognised institute or college can apply for this scholarship scheme. Scholarship amount of INR 50,000 per annum is offered to the shortlisted students under this scholarship. About 5000 scholarships are given every year by the AICTE. Eligibility Criteria for Pragati Scholarship Applicant should be a girl student. Must have secured admission in a degree/diploma course at any AICTE recognized institute or college. Family income should be less than 8 lakhs INR per annum. Only two girls per family are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme.
