JM Sethia Merit Scholarship

JM Sethia Charitable Trust offers scholarships to students from all over India who are financially poor and have an excellent academic record. Those who are studying in class 9 to 12 or UG or PG course are eligible to apply for it. All you need to take care is that you are studying a full time course from a recognised school or college.

Eligibility Criteria

  • There are 4 categories under this scholarship scheme.
  • For Category A, student must have scored 75% or above marks in class 8 and must be studying in class 9 or 10.
  • For Category B, student must have 75% or above marks in class 10 and should be studying in class 11 or 12.
  • For Category C, student must have 75% or above in class 12 (science or commerce) or 65% or above in class 12 (arts/humanities) and should be studying in graduation.
  • For Category D, student must have Graduation (Science/Commerce) with 60% or above or Graduation (Arts/Humanities) with 50% or above and should be studying post graduation degree course.

Scholarship Amount offered under JM Sethia Merit Scholarship

  • Category A: Total 15 students will be selected for Rs. 400 per month scholarship for a duration of 2 years.
  • Category B: In this too 15 students will get Rs. 500 per month for a duration of 2 years.
  • Category C: There will be 15 students selected for this category too who will get Rs. 600 per month for a duration of 2 or 3 years.
  • Category D: There will be 10 students selected for this category who will be eligible for Rs. 700 per month for a duration of 2 or 3 years.

  • Educational documents (mark sheets of previous qualification).
  • Family Income Proof
  • Identity Proof
  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhar Card
  • Bank Passbook 
  • Certificates related to extracurricular activities (Sports, NCC, Debate, Social Services, etc) if any.

How to Apply

  • You need to download the application form from the official website and take the print out.
  • There is no online process and you have to apply offline.
  • You need to fill the application according to instructions carefully.
  • After filling just attach the copy of all the required documents and speed post it to the designated address.
