IBPS RRB 2020 Exam

IBPS RRB 2020 notification has been released for 9628 vacancies. The candidates looking to work in Rural banks or Grameen banks can apply for this job. There are about 43 rural banks in India and they all recruit based on IBPS RRB score. The recruitment will be done for the following posts.
  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 4682
  • Officer Scale I: 3800
  • Officer Scale II (Agriculture Officer): 100
  • Officer Scale II (Marketing Officer): 08
  • Officer Scale II (Treasury Officer): 03
  • Officer Scale II (Law): 26
  • Officer Scale II (CA): 26
  • Officer Scale II (IT): 59
  • Officer Scale II (General Banking): 838
  • Officer Scale III: 156

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS 2020

  • Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • Age should be between 18 to 28 years (Office Assistant), 18 to 30 (Officer Scale I), 21 to 32 years (Officer Scale II), and 21 to 40 years (Officer Scale III).
  • There is age relaxation available for candidates who belong to reserved categories like SC/ST, OBC, Ex Servicemen, and Physically Handicapped.
  • Candidates must have a degree in respective stream or professional qualification according to the post applied.
  • For Officer Scale II and Scale III jobs, one must have the requisite experience in the given field.

IBPS RRB Selection Process

  • For Office Assistant the candidates need to appear for Prelims and Mains exam for selection based on merit.
  • For Officer Scale I the candidate need to appear for Prelims, Mains, and Interview.
  • For Officer Scale II and III, there will be a written exam and then an interview of shortlisted candidates.

How to Apply for IBPS RRB 2020

  • You need to apply online through official IBPS website.
  • Just make sure you are ready with scanned copies of thumb impression, photo, signature and handwritten declaration.
  • You need to register yourself and fill the online form with all the required details.
  • You need to upload all the scanned documents required in the correct format.
  • The application fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card and net banking.
  • There is no need to send any hard copy of the application and whole process is online.
