What kind of job posts are available through SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination?

Staff Selection Commision recruits candidates for various Group B and Group C posts through Combined Graduate Level exam. Most of the posts are in Central Government offices and Ministries. You can be transferred anywhere in India if you are looking for central government jobs, such jobs are not state limited. List of offices and departments (along with the posts) which recruit through SSC CGL are given below.

As you can see most of the posts are related to officer work and some are even considered as Gazetted posts. For most of the Group B posts the upper age limit is capped at 30 years and for Group C posts, it is 28 years. Although, age relaxation can be claimed if you belong to reserved category.

SSB Interview is standard procedure to recruit officers in Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.
