CUCET 2020: Central Universities Common Entrance Test

CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) is conducted every year for admission in various UG and PG courses offered at Central Universities available in India. CUCET 2020 will be organised by Central University of Odisha. There are various UG, PG and integrated courses offered and those who are looking for admission at Central Government funded universities should apply for this entrance exam. Eligibility Criteria for CUCET 2020

  • Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • For UG level or integrated UG-PG courses the candidate should have class 12 with the required stream and 50% marks in aggregate.
  • For PG level courses the candidate must have a degree in the required stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university.
  • For Ph.D and MPhil degree courses the candidate must have a PG degree in required subject with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university.
  • Candidates appearing in final year can also apply provided they have provisional degree from the said university.

CUCET 2020 Exam Pattern

  • The exam will be conducted offline and will be of 2 hours duration.
  • There will be multiple choice questions (100 questions related to the course you have applied).
  • There will be 1 mark awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 negative for each wrong answer.
  • The multiple choice questions will be related to English language, General Knowledge, Mathematical Aptitude, Analytical Skills and Subject Knowledge.

How to Apply for CUCET 2020?

  • Candidates can apply online through official website.
  • Just make sure you have scanned photograph and signature before sitting to apply.
  • You need to fill all the required details in the online application form and upload all the required documents.
  • The application fee can be paid through credit card or debit card or net banking.
  • The whole process of application is online and there is no need to send any hard copy of the application form.

  • General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 800
  • SC/ST: Rs. 350
  • Physically Handicapped: No Fee

  • Starting Date for Online Application: 16 March 2020
  • Last Date to Apply Online: April 2020
  • CUCET 2020 Examination Dates: 23 and 24 May 2020
  • Result Announcement for CUCET 2020: May 2020
