AIIMS Nursing Entrance Exam 2020

AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), New Delhi has announced the notification for Nursing courses admission. The students interested in pursuing nursing studies from the prestigious institute can apply for admission. Admission will be offered in the following  courses.
  1. B.Sc Nursing
  2. B.Sc Post Nursing
  3. M.Sc Nursing

Eligibility Criteria

  • For B.Sc Nursing: Candidate must have class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 55% marks. Age should be above 17 years and only females are eligible to apply.
  • For B.Sc Post Nursing: Candidate must have a Diploma in Midwifery and General Nursing from a recognised institute and must be a registered Nurse at the state Nursing council. Male candidates are also eligible to apply for this course.
  • For M.Sc Nursing: Candidate must have a B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc Post Nursing with minimum 60% marks from a recognised institute and must have registration at the state nursing council.

AIIMS Nursing Entrance Exam Pattern

  • The entrance exam will be conducted in online mode at the designated exam centers.
  • There will be multiple choice questions related to Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge in English language only.
  • Each correct answer will get 1 mark and there will be ⅓ negative marks for wrong answers.

How to Apply

  • You need to apply online through their official website.
  • Just make sure you have scanned copy of your left thumb impression, signature and a passport size photo of yourself before sitting to apply online.
  • You have to fill the details correctly and upload the required documents.
  • Application fee can be paid online through debit or credit card or net banking mode.
  • You need to submit the application online and there is no need to send any hard copy of the application.

Application Fee

  • For General/OBC Category: Rs. 1500
  • For SC/ST category: Rs. 1200
  • For Physically Handicapped Category: No fee

Important Dates

  • Starting Date of Online Application: 12 December 2019
  • Last Date to Apply: 16 December 2020 (05:00 PM)
  • Date of Online Examination: 21 August 2020
  • Date of Results: 27 August 2020
