AICTE Saksham Scholarship 2020

AICTE Saksham Scholarship scheme is aimed at those students who have any kind of physically disabilities and are willing to pursue technical education. Saksham scholarship promotes technical education for differently abled students. Anyone who wants to study any technical degree/diploma course and have any kind of physical disability, can apply for it. Students are offered INR 50,000 per annum for the duration of the course if they get selected for this scholarship. About 5000 scholarships are given each year by the AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria for AICTE Saksham Scholarship Scheme 2020

  • Only those candidates who have 40% physical disability are eligible to apply.
  • Family Income should be less than INR 8 lakhs per annum.
  • Candidate should have secured admission in a technical degree/diploma course in 1st year or through lateral entry in 2nd year.

Documents required for AICTE Saksham Scholarship 2020

  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets.
  • Family income certificate on a prescribed format.
  • Disability certificate.
  • Admission Confirmation Letter.
  • Caste Certificate (if required).
  • Aadhar Card
  • Bank Passbook or Canceled Cheque

How to Apply for Saksham Scholarship?

  • You can apply online through the official website.
  • Just get yourself registered through official website and fill the online form with all the correct details.
  • You need to upload some scanned documents, so be ready with all the documents in scanned format.
  • Once you have filled the details and upload the documents, you can submit the form.
  • The whole process is online and there is no need to send any hard copy.

Selection Criteria for AICTE Saksham Scholarship

  • Selection will be on merit which will decided on the basis of class 10 and 12 mark sheets.
  • Financial condition of the family will also be taken into consideration before preparing the final list.
  • Reservation will be applicable.
  • 15% seats are reserved for SC/STs and 27% for OBC categories.
