Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 for UG/PG Law Degree Admission

CLAT 2020 for admission in UG and PG Law degree courses at National Law Universities across India has been announced and those looking for admission in law degree courses can apply for it before the last date. There are a total of 19 National Law universities across India who give admission based on CLAT score through counselling. Candidates need to perform excellently in the entrance exam to get admission at their choice of university.

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT 2020

  • For UG Law degree the candidate must have class 12 with minimum 45% marks from a recognised board.
  • For PG Law degree the candidate must have LLB degree with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university.
  • There is no upper age limit set for both UG and PG programmes through CLAT.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved category can avail 5% relaxation in marks.

CLAT 2020 Exam Pattern

  • The exam will be of 2 hours duration and will be conducted in offline mode (for both UG and PG) in the English language only.
  • There will be a total of 150 multiple-choice questions (both UG and PG).
  • There will be one mark for the correct answer and 0.25 negative for the wrong answer.
  • For UG degree course the entrance exam will have questions related to Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English Language and Current Affairs.
  • For the PG degree course, the entrance exam will have questions related to Jurisprudence, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and other law subjects.

  • Candidates can apply online through the official website.
  • Just make sure you fill the application form correctly with all the details.
  • Candidate needs to upload all the required documents in the correct format.
  • The application fee can be paid through credit card or debit card or net banking.
  • Just follow all the above steps and submit the form online and take a print out for future reference.

  • For SC/ST: Rs. 3500
