HDFC Educational Crisis Scholarship

HDFC Bank offers scholarships to students who are unable to fund their education due to any family or personal crisis. Those who are studying from class 6 to 12 or Graduation or Post Graduation or PhD or even ITI or Diploma course can apply for this scholarship. The main aim of this scholarship is to help those students who want to study but are unable to do so because of some financial crisis.

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Should be a student of class 6 to 12 from any recognised school in India.
  • Students of ITI or Diploma Engineering or any other class 10 base diploma course from a recognized institute are also eligible to apply.
  • Those who are studying Graduation or Post Graduation or PhD from any recognised university are also eligible to apply for it.
  • The student must be facing any kind of crisis in the past 3 years due to which he/she is not able to continue education. 

Benefits of HDFC Educational Crisis Scholarship 

  • For school students studying from class 6 to 12 there will be INR 10000 or the yearly fee (whichever is less).
  • For ITI or Diploma students there will be INR 25000 or the yearly fee of the course (whichever is less).
  • For Graduation or Post Graduation or PhD students there will be INR 25000 or the yearly fee (whichever is less).
  • Scholarship will be awarded for maximum 2 years duration only.
  • The amount will be disbursed in the form of demand draft in favour of school or college or institute concerned.

Documents required for HDFC Educational Crisis Scholarship

  • Educational certificates of the previous class.
  • Admission confirmation letter from the school or college or institute concerned.
  • Income Proof Certificate.
  • Bank details of the school or college or institute concerned.
  • Documents related to the crisis (Proof of Crisis).

  • You can apply online through their official website.
  • Just fill all the relevant details in the online application form.
  • Upload all the required documents in the given format.
  • Submit the application form online.
  • No need to send any hard copy as everything is online.
