SSC CHSL Examination 2020

Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) exam and those who are looking for a central government job after class 12 can apply for this exam. 

Eligbility for CHSL Exam

  • Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • Must be class 12 pass in any stream from a recognised board of education.
  • Age should be between 18 and 27 years (Relaxation available for reserved category).
  • Must be having good typing skills along with working knowledge of Computer (Only those who pass skill test will be eligible for job).

  • Lower Division Clerk
  • Date Entry Operator
  • Postal Assistant

Selection Procedure

  • Candidate need to appear for written exam at the designated exam center.
  • Those who clear the written exam will get opportunity to appear for the skill test.
  • Final merit will be based on written exam and skill test.
  • Those who are higher on merit list will be eligible for joining.

How to Apply?

  • You need to apply online through official website.
  • Just make sure you fill all the details correctly according to your documents.
  • You need fill the online application and upload your scanned photo and signature in the given format.
  • Application fee can be paid through online mode or bank challan.
  • The whole process is online and you don't need to send any physical copy.

Application Fee

  • General and OBC (Non creamy layer) : Rs. 100
  • SC/ST and PWD: No fee

  • Starting Date of Online Application: 03 December 2019
  • Last Date to Apply: 10 January 2020
  • Paper I Exam Date: 16 to 27 March 2020
  • Paper II Exam Date: 28 June 2020
