Government of Madhya Pradesh offers tuition fee waiver scheme which is known as Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojna for meritorious students belonging to lower income group families. This scheme is offered to students who have enrolled in a graduate level course at any recognized university or institute. The candidates are shortlisted strictly on the basis of merit which is decided through class 12 marks.
Eligibility Criteria
- Student should be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh state.
- Candidate should have secured at least 70% marks in class 12 from any school recognized to Madhya Pradesh board.
- Those who have passed from CBSE/ICSE must have more than 85% marks in class 12 to apply for this scheme.
- Annual Income of the family should be below INR 6 lakhs.
- Those who have secured admission in Engineering course must have a JEE Main rank below 150000.
- Those who have secured admission in medical courses should have secured admission in merit through NEET in any recognized medical college.
- Any other degree course should be from a recognised college or university.
Benefits of Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojna
- Students enrolled in a government engineering college will receive full tuition fee waiver.
- Those who are enrolled in a private engineering college will receive 1.5 lakhs or tution fee whichever is lesser.
- Those enrolled in a medical course at any government or private medical college will get full waiver.

- School mark sheets (class 10 and 12).
- Admission confirmation proof from the college on letterhead signed by the Principal.
- Family Income Proof Certificate
- Course fee structure on a college letterhead signed by the Principal.
- JEE Main/NEET/CLAT scorecard (if applicable)
- Bank Passbook Copy
How to Apply?
- You need to register yourself on the official website.
- After registration you will receive login details.
- You need to login and fill the details in the online form.
- After filling the details you need to upload all the required documents.
- Recheck all the details and submit the application.
