CBSE UDAAN Scholarship Scheme for Girls

CBSE UDAAN Scholarship is offered to Girl students for engineering entrance exam preparation. Ministry of Human Resources and Development is promoting this scholarship scheme so that Girls also study professional courses like Engineering. Most of the engineering colleges in India have a very low percentage of girls studying engineering courses. Udaan Scholarship scheme for Girls so that they can get admission at top engineering colleges in India.

Eligibility Criteria for CBSE UDAAN Scholarship

  • Only girls who are an Indian citizen can apply for this scholarship scheme.
  • The student should be enrolled in class 11 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths stream.
  • Should have passed class 10 with minimum 70% marks and 80% marks in Science and Maths.
  • Annual income of the family should below 6 lakhs.
  • Girl student enrolled in any KVs/JNVs or Government Schools affiliated to a recognised board will be eligible to apply.

  • Class 10 mark sheets
  • Annual Income Certificate
  • Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
  • An undertaking signed by school Principal
  • Undertaking filled and signed by Parents

How to Apply?

  • You need to apply online through the official website.
  • Just visit the website and read the information brochure first before applying.
  • Just fill the online application correctly and submit it online.
  • After submission, you need to take the print out.
  • You have to get the printed application form verified with all the relevant documents by your School Principal.
  • You will need an undertaking from school duly signed by Principal and Parents to prove that you are a regular student.
  • After completing all of the above steps you need to submit your application to the city coordinator of CBSE.
  • Just submit it and get the acknowledgement for future reference.
