Indian Navy 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme 2020

Indian Navy has released the notification for 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme which is a permanent commission entry for those who are looking to join Indian Navy as an Officer. Those who are selected for this entry will have to complete a 4 year degree course at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala in Kerala.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy Cadet Entry Scheme

  • The candidate should be an unmarried male Indian citizen.
  • The required age is 16.5 to 19.5 years (Born between 02 January 2001 and 01 July 2003).
  • Must have class 12 qualification with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) stream and 70% marks or above in aggregate.
  • Also, should have minimum 50% marks in English subject either in class 10 or 12.
  • Must have a valid JEE Main scorecard.
  • Must fulfil the medical and physical standards of the Indian Navy.

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of JEE Main score.
  • Those who are shortlisted will receive the call letter for SSB Interview.
  • On the basis of performance in the SSB Interview, the final selection for merit will be prepared.
  • You need to fulfil the medical fitness too before joining.

How to Apply for Indian Navy Cadet Entry Scheme 

  • You need to apply online through the official website.
  • Just make sure you have all the required documents before sitting for applying.
  • Must have scanned copies of documents like class 10 and 12 marks sheet along with JEE Main scorecard.
  • Must have a scanned passport size photo of yourself.
  • You need to fill the details correctly and upload all the required documents in the online application.
  • The scanned images should be clear otherwise your application will be rejected.
  • You just need to fill the correct details and upload the correct documents to complete the process.
  • There is no application fee for this entry scheme.

  • Starting date for online application: 29 November 2019
  • Last date to apply: 19 December 2019
  • Date of Joining or Commencement of Course: July 2020
