Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course 2020

Indian Army has released the notification for Technical Entry Scheme Course and those who are willing to join Indian Army after class 12 completion should apply for this entry scheme. This is one of the best options for those who are willing to become an Officer in the Indian Army at a young age.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army TES Course 2020

  • Candidate should be class 12 pass with PCM stream and must have 70% or above marks in aggregate. 
  • Should be an Indian Citizen.
  • Age must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age.
  • Only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Should be medically fit.
  • Must fulfil the physical requirements of the Indian Army Standards.
  • The minimum height required is 157.5 cms.

Selection Criteria

  • Selection will be on merit which will be based on class 12 marks in PCM stream.
  • You need to clear the cut off marks to get a call for SSB interview.
  • The cut off marks are usually above 78% and you must have excellent marks to get to the next stage which is SSB.
  • Final selection will be based on the performance in the SSB conducted by Indian Army.
  • After clearing the SSB and medical examination the candidate will be required to undergo training.
  • Only after successful completion of 5 years of training, the candidate will be allowed an Officers rank in the Indian Army.

How to Apply?

  • You need to apply online through the official Indian Army Website
  • You need to fill out the online form correctly and submit it online. 
  • There is no need to send any hard copy.
  • Just make sure you fill all the details according to your documents because wrong information can lead to rejection of application during SSB documents verification.

  • Starting Date of Online Application: 15 October 2019
  • Last Date to Apply: 13 November 2019
  • Date of SSB Interview: January 2020
