What is the eligibility criteria for On/Off-Campus Placement at top IT companies in India?

Top IT or Software companies recruit the best talent from top colleges through campus placement and there is minimum criteria for the interview. The candidate should fulfil that minimum eligibility criterion to become eligible for campus interview. It is usually related to the marks scored and the backlogs which are the major concern for the to other companies some of the top software companies in India have the following criteria for campus interview eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria for Campus Recruitment at top IT Companies in India

Infosys

  • Must have 60% or above in class 10 and 12.
  • In an engineering degree, it should be above 70% marks.
  • There should not be any pending backlogs.

TCS (Tata Consultancy Services)

  • Above 60% throughout the career in 10, 12 and degree.
  • No pending backlogs.

Amazon 

  • There are no percentage criteria for Amazon and you just need to have the required qualification.
  • No pending backlogs are allowed.
  • No education gap.

Google

  • Candidate must have at least 65% marks throughout the academic career in 10, 12 and graduation.
  • There should be no pending backlogs.
  • Education gap of maximum 1 year is allowed.

HCL

  • Candidate should have at least 60% or above in class 10, 12 and also graduation.
  • No pending backlogs at the time of joining.
  • Education gap of 1 year or less is allowed.

Tech Mahindra

  • Must have 60% or above throughout the academic career in 10, 12 and graduation.
  • There should not be any gap of more than 1 year.
  • No pending backlogs.

Flipkart

  • Candidate should have 70% or above throughout the academic career till graduation.
  • No pending backlogs.
  • No education gap.

Wipro

  • 65% or above throughout in class 10, 12 and graduation.
  • No education gap.
  • No pending backlogs

IBM

  • Candidates must have more than 60% or above throughout the academic career in class 10, 12 and graduation.
  • There shouldn't be any pending backlogs at the time of joining.

Huawei

  • Candidate should have at least 70% or above in class 10 and 12.
  • In an engineering degree, the student must have more than 75% or above marks.

Along with the above criteria, the candidate must also fulfil the criteria of not appearing in any interview at the same company in the last 6 months.
